Honor 600 Lite full Review
Saudi Arabia’s New Mid-Range Champ?
In the increasingly crowded mid-range smartphone landscape, Honor has just entered a new contender in the arena. I’ve had the new Honor 600 Lite in my hands for some time now, and I’m here to share my first-hand review. In this review, I’ll be taking a look at whether it delivers the “Lite” feel, or if it’s really a heavyweight champion.
Quality and Durability

The first impression I get from the Honor 600 Lite’s packaging is its incredibly thin design and high-end look. But don’t be deceived by the charm. Another feature I was impressed with was the Honor Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop.
The phone is SGS 5-star drop resistant certified, which gives me confidence it will withstand a few drops. The matte finish feels like luxury and is also very resistant to fingerprints, which makes the Honor 600 Lite one of the most durable and stylish phones I’ve tested this year.
Display

Good for Your Eyes
Honor has always been concern about eye health and the Honor 600 Lite is no different. The phone has a gorgeous AMOLED display with a fast refresh rate for smooth scrolling.
My favourite part was the 3240Hz PWM Dimming. If you’re like me and use your phone for many hours every night, it’s flicker-free, which helps to avoid eye fatigue. Also, the maximum brightness is great. Even in the strong sun in Saudi Arabia, I was able to read emails and watch videos outside.
Camera Quality

The Honor 600 Lite is a camera for social media. The primary high-resolution sensor delivers great detail in bright light. The colours I found to be true and saturated enough to share on Instagram.
The portrait mode works well to blur the background with a nice bokeh effect. Although the macro lens is a welcome addition, the main sensor is the workhorse of this device, particularly in low light using the dedicated Night Mode.
Battery Life and Charging

No more dreaded battery woes with the Honor 600 Lite. I was able to easily power through a day of almost continuous use including GPS usage and watching videos. If you need to top up your charge, fast charging will have you back on the move quickly. I managed to juice it up to a considerable level in 30 minutes.
Software Experience
MagicOS
The phone is powered by the latest MagicOS, which offers a smooth and user-friendly interface. I found the Magic Capsule and Global Favorites very useful, speeding up notification management and sharing. The software is bloatware-free, and doesn’t feel slow or sluggish.
Performance and RAM Turbo
The Honor 600 Lite is underpinned by a strong chipset, making it capable of running any day-to-day tasks effortlessly. Whether I was multitasking between Chrome, YouTube, and social media apps, the performance remained snappy.
A key highlight is the RAM Turbo technology. This virtual memory technology enables the device to run multiple apps in the background without slowdowns. It’s not a gaming powerhouse but I found games such as PUBG and Free Fire running on medium-to-high settings to be extremely smooth.
